ANGLO-SAXON VILLAGE, CHELMSLEY WOOD
In the grounds of Kingshurst Academy, Birmingham, there is a reconstruction of an Anglo Saxon village. It is currently disused and in need of restoration. The challenge: to turn it into a "living history" museum...
Young people from Year 4 in Woodrow First School, Redditch, took up the challenge - to research the lives of the Anglo-Saxons. to plan activities for visitors to a "living history" museum, and to create roles for some of the "villagers."
Here are some of the results of their work.
